An Introduction of Mind-set

Being a part of the Breathless family means working together as a team. We depend on each other to uphold the Breathless Anticipation image and our reputation for excellence which has been carefully built up over time.

Jealously guard the reputation and good will of ALL Breathless staffers. Everyone is here to have fun and to help and support each other for the common good. Respect is key. Remember this. Guests are not going to tip staffers in a hostile environment.

Whether working alone, in pairs, or as a group, always be mindful of how your words and actions will effect others. We are entertainers. It's important to actively design and redesign yourself until your persona and performance feel smooth and natural to you.

Above all you must be tuned-in to those you are enteraining, so remember to be a good listener. (Feel the room.)

Don't just blurt out anything that comes to mind. Think about your responses.

What you look like is important too. If you are creeping people out, and it's not Halloween, then definitely change your avatar.

Finding Your Place

We have gone through many changes since the Breathless Anticipation concept was introduced to IMVU. After much trial and error, we have at last settled on a plan that we are confident will benefit all of us; staff, management, and guests.

We hear comments from guests every day about how good the Breathless Anticipation staff is. Every single member of our staff was chosen on the basis of their winning personality and fun, friendly attitude. You have been provided with training and tools enabling you to be the best of the best in all of IMVU, and in time we expect to be famous especially for that.

Of course, life is unpredictable, both in the 3D chat world, and the real world. We realize that people's level of involvement will vary. It is perfectly acceptable to take a break from Breathless when you feel you need one. You might be gone for a day, a week, or even several months. It doesn't change your standing as a member of the BA staff. We are family, and once you're in, you're in. There is only one exception.

The "I Quit" Rule

It is extremely difficult to be "fired" from staff at Breathless. It is possible, however, to "quit." Please think long and hard before making that choice. If you actually quit, it is permanent. You will not ever be allowed back on staff. The better option is to "take a break." Then, if you decide you want to come back at some future date, you can be sure you will always be welome.
