Setting up your money making profile page
This page is not required to become a staff member at Breathless however, it is required if you wish to become a Panty Raider.

This page is probably your most important first step toward making money, credits and gifts as you play in IMVU. All staff members can participate in this money making program without the need to become a Panty Raider first.

How this works
The page is designed to be a portal for IMVU users to get to know you better, find your most important web links and ultimately to send you gifts, credits & money or help you to earn money through their clicks on your sponsor links.

Your profile is most effective if properly set up and you then actively send guests to see it. Don't hesitate to let guests know that this page helps you to support your online activities and that clicking on and visiting your sponsors will result in revenues that cost them nothing. Of course they are always welcome to simply send you a cash donation (a tip), a gift or IMVU credits.

STEP 1 - Submit Staff Application
If you joined staff prior to October 15, 2009, you will need to fill out the latest version of the application form so that we can link your profile page from the staff directory found here.

Once your name is linked, you can set up your PayPal tip jar and apply for Google AdSense.

STEP 2 - Set up your Tip Jar
You will need to be signed up with PayPal and make sure you are able to not only send but also receive money on that account. Once you have done that, setting up your tip jar is easy.

  • Log in to your PayPal account
  • Click on the "products and services" tab
  • Click on "website payments standard"
  • Find the donate button and underneath it click on "create one now"
  • scroll to the bottom of that page and click on "create button"
  • Click on the button under the text box that says "select code"
  • Right click and copy the highlighted text from the box
  • Paste the code into a text editor. Notepad works well for this.

    If you are also adding Google Adsense, please wait and submit both codes at the same time. When you are ready, completely fill out and resubmit the staff application form, being sure to paste the saved PayPal code into the space provided for that purpose.
    At first your button will say "donate" but we will change the graphic to "tip jar" as soon as possible. In the meantime, please click on your button to make sure it is working correctly.

    STEP 3 - Apply for Google Adsense
    Go to theGoogle homepage, and click on advertising programs. Then click Google AdSense. The first thing they ask for is your primary website url. You will enter the address of your profile page in this box.

    For example: http://breathlessanticipation.com/staff/yourjulie.html

    Yours will be the same, only with your screen name in place of yourjulie.

    Continue filling out the Google application and when you have finished, submit it. Google will notify you once you're accepted into the program. Now you are ready to get your AdSense code.

  • Log in to your AdSense account
  • Click on the AdSense Setup tab
  • Click on "AdSense for Content"
  • Choose Link Unit and click on "Continue"
  • Important! Be sure to choose 468x15 as your format.
  • Choose your color scheme and click "Continue"
  • On the next page click "Continue"
  • Now click "Submit and Get Code"
  • Left click and move your mouse over the text box, making sure you have selected the entire code
  • Right click and copy the highlighted text from the box
  • Paste the code into a text editor. Notepad works well for this.

    When you are ready, completely fill out and resubmit the staff application form, being sure to paste the saved Google AdSense code into the space provided for that purpose.

    your breathless profile page will also have links to your wishlist
    any public rooms you may have on IMVU should be linked on your breathless profile
    the breathless profile already has links to your IMVU home page too
    when u can edit your IMVU homepage your breathless profie page also changes
    if you are a ppr you might qualify to earn a share in the panty raider gross income sharing
    this is not calculated on gross sales, but gross income (not true profits either)
    IMVU and other developers take a cut on every sale. the remaining gross income is the munber we pay to our qualified staff
    10% of the gross income will be paid to and split among the qualifying staffers
    copy and paste the link to your breathless profile in the google adsense form field and please be sure it's correct
